Ibiza in May, specific questions!

Hi,

I know that this question has been asked a lot but after reading all the other threads I still have questions because everyone seems to have different opinions! I'm booked to go to Cala Llonga from May 14th-28th this year, I'm so excited and can't wait!!!!:D I've been there about 5 times before so I know what the resort is like and I love it but never at this time of the year. I have two questions.

1) What will the weather be like? Will it be warm enough to sunbathe and will it be warm enough to go out at night without a jacket?

2)Will most of the bars be open? I'm going with my friend, we're both 23 and we love Cala Llonga because its gorgeous and the people are so friendly. Also if we want to go to San Antonio we can still go there at night. We went to Eden last time we were in Ibiza but we're not really bothered about going to the big clubs. I just want to know if the bars in Cala Llonga will be open and also if the bars in the West End will be open? Ooh and also the bars on the sunset strip, aswell as boat trips. (Sorry for all the questions lol, blame the excitement!)

Any info would be greatly appreciated, I can't wait
 
all your wishes will come true apart from the no jacket one. take something warm for the evenings just in case.
 
1) i went at end of april/start of may last year and it was beautiful. fine to sunbathe although the sea was a little chilly; considering you are going 2-4 weeks after that, it'll be even more pleasant for your trip.

don't know what you call them but those tiny cardigan type things that just cover your arms are en vogue and will look/feel better than a 'jacket'.

2) in may everything really starts getting going for the tourist season. Throughout may, bars, clubs, etc begin to open (if not already) and certainly by the 2nd or 2rd week in May, places like sunset strip and the west end will be 'fully operational'.

Hi louise im goin to san antonio at the same time as your going, so was glad to hear some of your questions answered, i was a bit worried it would be really quiet at that time of year and no clubs would be open. This will be my first time in ibiza and i cant wait!! 8)

Thanks for that Grego :lol:. I will certainly take some of them with me lol! I don't know what you call them either and I have some! lol.
