Ibiza in May 04

For you Ibiza regulars, I am planning a trip to Ibiza in May 04. But am concerned that is not an appropriate time to enjoy the nightlife because most of the clubs have not had their opening parties yet. Please give me the inside on Ibiza during the month of may. thanks
 
dude dont go on the month of may there are no clubs open and there is not really much of a night life in motnh of may the older person goes and the family
 
I too am going in May.

My friends are opening a bar there in the second week and they've been there since october and havent stopped partying yet.

Soon i'll be getting an itinery of what's planned - nights etc, so I'll forwrad that to you.

I'm looking forward to going in May. I think it will be a great experience - admittedly different from the madness of the opening/ closing parties.

But by what i've heard if you can find out where things are happening - it's still full on.

I'm still waiting to find out what's going on. To be honest I'm relying on my friends over there. But i would ask McRackin - he seems to know what evryone is up to on the island.

It's called Cube in Figuretas.

It's their first year this year. They went out late last year to get the bar ready for this May.

I think it officially opens around the 20th - 22nd of May.

But i'm sure if you go there in the first week you'll be able to get a drink - i'll find out for you.

funnily enough i have been in figueretas today (would you believe that there was 3 women swimming in the beach? 8O ) and saw the bar of your friends!! :D

its called C.U.B.E. and its in c. pere escanellas (next to the italian restaurant da nino) - that means the road between c. ramón muntaner (around the area of hotel marigna/brothel la fragata/gay sauna the deep club) and the promenade. and yes, it has sea views from its terrace!! :P

some of you might remember when it was the gay bar DJs:

i have just been told that these 3 women go there every day during all the winter!! :o

apparently the famous trio appeared on the local tv some weeks ago explaining the benefits of going to the beach in winter!! :lol:

I think they're intending have an official opening night in May to mark the start of the "clubbing season".
