Ibiza in June/July | Hostal Tarba

Hi guys, been reading through some of the threads on the forum for a few days now. Very useful forum I must say.

I'm going to Ibiza for the first time at the end of June/start of July with a couple of friends of mine. Will the place be busy at the end of June? The more the merrier. :)

Is Hostal Tarba guest friendly? Just say if I wanted to bring a girl back after a night out, I hear some hotels are strict on it. It has gotten good reviews online, has anyone stayed there?

Thanks in advance.

Hosta Tarba is a family run guest house part of the small and friendly chain. You are a guest in their house so manners can go a long way.

If you have a quiet word with the owner if it is permitable to bring back a guest DISCRETELY then that would be the way to go. Dont try and sneak one in. They will appreciate that you would have asked first......

Yeah the price and location is the main reason we booked there. What website did you book from?

Party on Ibiza in June! :D

I perhaps shouldn't say this because the hotel can be booked through Spotlight 8O, but I got it through Travel Republic. I would recommend booking club tickets through Spotlight though - have done for the last few years and it takes alot of hassle out of finding tickets there.

He he I feel sick with excitement whenever I think about it! :D

Yeah, I haven't been this excited for a holiday in a long time. :) I was going to book with travelrepublic but then saw it cheaper on asiarooms.com.

Have you been to Ibiza before?

Yeah its my fifth time. Last year was a let down though so definitely making up for it this time! You will love it!!!:D

I've stayed at Hostal Tarba for several years. It's comfortable and friendly, and they improve it in some way most winters. Air-con is in most rooms now I think.

Do you recommend any good pubs or places of interest near Hostal Tarba?

Plastik is a nice bar and quite close by, the sunset strip for Mambo and Cafe Del Mar isn't far away either, about 10 minutes walking. Ooo and there is a pizza place called David's round the corner from the sunset strip that is divine!

I'm stayling here in early June too :D Yeah we always go to Plasik, Hush (went end), Mambo, Savannah and Sun Sea Bar (all on sunset strip). Orange Corner & Itaca are also cool just up from Plastik along the sea front! Take a trip to Ibiza town too for places of interest.

There will be a big gang of us by the pool so! Looking forward to getting a bit of a tan. :)

Thanks for the info. What are the prices of drinks like in the places you mentioned? I read somewhere online that some places in the Westend do special offers and then I read on other forums/sites it can very expensive. I would be drinking either Budweiser or Guinness/Murphys if they have any.

West end = cheaper drinks like 2 for 5 euros etc but sunset strip etc is a little more like 4/5 euros. West end is your best bet for cheaper drinks

In the clubs its stupid - probs 10 euros a beer. vodka and red bull maybe 15-20 euros and so on....

Hotel bars are usually ok for a few to kick things off!! 8)8)
