Hi everybody, this is my first trip to Ibiza this summer (in August). :D
I'm going to stay one week at "Ibiza Hotel" in Figueretas.

Could you tell me about this accomodation?
(Staff, rooms, how are the guests? is it clean? noisy or peaceful at night? Family oriented or clubbers?).
about Figueretas? is this resort nice? walking distance in minutes to the port, El Divino and Pacha? distance to Bora Bora and Space?
Which bars and shops sell nightclub tickets in Ibiza town and Figueretas?

Thanks everybody. Can't wait for the summer to begin !!!

Don't know about the actual hotel, have you tried doing a search for it on this site and you might get reviews.

I love Figueretas as a resort, it's about 20/30 minutes walk to Space/Bora Bora and about the same distance to Ibiza Town. There's a lot of more local restaurants and bars in Figueretas.

With re to tickets, if you're going to Pacha/El Divino then we normally get them from the ticket outlet shops in Ibiza Town near Base Bar. For Space we normally get tickets from the shop opposite Jet apartments.

Can we get tickets for Amnesia, Privilege, Eden and Es Paradis in Ibiza town? or do you have to go to San Antonio? :?

The places that sell tickets sell them for all the major clubs so you won't have any problems getting tickets for Eden etc in Ibiza Town/PDB.

Thanks for your help Barbie.
It's difficult to get "answers" from the computer with the words "ibiza", "playa" & "hotel".

So, I need your help spotlighters!

Nobody knows? :?

Its a family hotel - probably OK. Further along the neach is a small hotel called Hotel Figuretas - they have a great little verandah right on the beach and sangria is really cheap. I think Figuretas is great. Nice people on the beach - not many football shirts, which is nice.

I stayed there on my first trip to the island in 1998, but I presume it hasn't changed too much. It is great if you have got a room with a sea view, the small balcony is great. As someone else said there are a fair few families, they have a nice private pool situated in the sea and it is very central for getting around.

There are plenty of restaurants and some ticket outlets in the vicinity and taxi stands close by.

I am sure you will have a great time.

A friend of mine stayed at Ibiza Playa last year and loved it. She recommended it to me for my trip in August this year. She's a flamboyant singer who's performed at Manumission and frequents the Dome, and when she gets back from the clubs she likes it very quiet. She said she had a high floor and slept like a baby during the day. The beach was full of families who didn't take a liking to her wild and colorful look, but she didn't mind them and enjoyed the hotel anyway. With that, you can tell it's not really an 18-30 place that's so full of footballers and clubbers. She highly recommends the place for those who want to be near the action but not so near that house music keeps them up 24 hours a day.

I took the Fiesta Hotel Playa d'en Bossa (next to door to the Fiesta Club PDB) because I want the beach more than anything; Ibiza for me is a chance to be among Europeans, be in the heat and at the beach (NYC's weather in the summer sucks! I can count the hot, sunny beach days we get in a season on one hand), and make an audience with Manumission and La Troya.
