Last year's Formentera timetable was on the web until March this year, but I've found nothing about 2010 :x.
Anyone found a current timetable site for F/tera??

Also noticed the www.ibizabus.com timetable is currently down 8O. It had a very useful pdf file attached to it, so I hope that gets back quickly.
*slaps hand* should have saved the file!!

Still using the 'paper' timetable,penciled in changes from the web,it's getting a bit knackered !
It's a 2005 version picked up in 2007 to replace an even more knackered 2005 copy.
Have not seen anything more recent printed.....?

Worth keeping hold of as a collectors items in a few years time by the sound of it's scarcity!

Does anyone know if you can buy a travel card/weekly ticket for the bus?

In the past I've just paid for individual journey's but was just wondering if this could be a cost saving trick ;)

Haven't heard of either, but as Formentera Bus has a day-ticket, I presume they are also available on the main island.
Check with your hotel reception, or even at the (so-called) bus station.

you can buy a block of 20 tickets which will give you a substantial discount on each route - handy if you're going mob-handed.

i notice that the airport to san antonio bus is already running and will do so until the end of september and that my village, san jose, is now connected on the san antonio - san jose - ibiza route EVERY hour EVERY day except sunday. it's almost like being in the real world

Thanks Stephen - one ticket per journey? Usable on day buses & discobus?

Only 2 of us though but if we thought we would use buses to see the island it could still be worthwhile.

yes and no.

you have to buy a book of a particular denomination eg 20 x €1.85 will cost (say) €22 giving you a saving. i suppose if you travel the same route 4 times a day (if you have a job) or there's a group of you, it would pay to do this.

Discobus

Last weekend the night buses, known as “Discobus”, began their summer schedule.

This year there are four lines;

- one from San Antonio to the Port in Ibiza,
passing through San Rafael, Privilege, Amnesia and Pacha;
- another from Playa d´en Bossa to the Port in Ibiza Town,
passing Space, ses Figuretes and Pacha.
- The third line links Ibiza Town with Santa Eulalia and es Canar,
passing the Pacha Discotheque,
- and the fourth from San Antonio to Port d´es Torrent via the Bay Road.

In Ibiza Town the bus commences at the Port and not in Calle Isidoro Macabich;
as far as the other routes are concerned, the night schedule is exactly the same
as during the day.

The price per journey is €3,
although there is a book of tickets valid for five journeys for €12.

Timetables may be consulted at www.discobus.es.
