I was just wondering how do people survive when they go working in ibiza for the summer?
From the talking to the barstaff/waitresses there, they seem to get paid very little. Accomadation seems to be cheap enough but they also seem to work very long hours. We got talking to one English girl in the BayBar in San An who says she works 7 days a weeks and even did double shifts during the busy season.
I presume the guys/gals that hand out flyers and try to entice people into pubs and clubs get a pittance, do they free enterance into the big clubs then when they are finished work though?
A normal 9-5 job would have the disadvantage of having to be up early in the morning so besides the very obvious illegal jobs, is there anything that you could do on the island that sustain you while you go clubbing.
I just got back after spending almost 2,500 euro in a week so I can't imagine how much i would spend in a summer there!!
