Ibiza for the over sixties - your help needed

Got a different one planned in September this year. 4 days of madness with friends at Pikes and then we drop them off at the airport and pick up the in-laws who land on the flight they depart on (I may look a right state!)

Anyway, they always wonder why Ibiza is so special to us and we promised we would take them one day. We are planning to drive them around the island, take them to favourite places and resturants etc. My father in law likes a drink, so looking forward to Itaca for an afternoon session as well.

Looking for ideas and recomendations from people (obviously non club related) We have lunch and dinner around San Antonio sorted most days, anywhere outwith there that would be good to take them appreciated (remembering the age group!)

Ideas we have so far:

Restaurante Sa Caleta for paella, their special coffee and a chilled afternoon.

Hippy Market

Ibiza Old town day (girls shopping and guys drinking)

Formentera

Lunch at Santa Gertrudis

Lunch at El Chiringuito, Cala Gracio

Sunday Roast at Pikes

Ibiza Old town for a meal and drinks (Meal recomendations?)

Dinner at Sa Capella

Es Vedra (what is the best restaurant / bar close by?)

Lunch at Ses Selinas

Cap Des Falco for sunset (is it worth it these days? Not been for a few years)

Sunset at Kumharas

Apart from the glamorous way of life of this area we like to go to Sa Calma (dinner and bar). Great view of the harbour and Ibiza town. And it is nice to use the taxi boat to come to Ibiza town.

thread moved.

I'd second la calma.

the best one in es vedra area is es boldado, el carmen is also good though.

they might enjoy santa eularia?

if it's not that hot anymore and they're still in good condition maybe do an easy hike with them through walkingibiza, just as an idea.

they might like can cosmi in santa agnes or can cires in sant mateu

Did a similar trip pre wedding last year. Las Dalias was a big hit. Also drinks at Experimental beach club on your way back from Salinas might be good - really nice spot, not too full on. Wouldn't fancy the drive out of there under the cover of darkness though so maybe just a cheeky couple.

I second the Santa Eularia tip.

I visited Itaca this year and I was a little bit disappointed. Too rowdy for my liking (I was with family mind you) but I'm thinking about what company you will be in.

I gave Kasbah another chance and was pleasantly surprised.

Enjoy (pity it's not the oldies first then the shenanigans).

Santa Eularia shopping.and nice walk on prom from harbour to main bar area.meal maybe, carboot sat morning, puerto san miguel.as you look at beach and what i call tracy island.on the left is a nice eating place.could park up in pdb near tres carabelas hotel get ferry boat to town and back.

Cala Bonita....near Jesus.

From the road the dirt track is around 2k a bit bumpy, however at the end is a great new place just opened, run by a guy called Micheal from OZ, his wife is a well known chef who has come over for 3 months, high price but lovely food, all local and ambiance, you won't get any riff raff there even Tongy was in there yesterday.

Mixed crowd but classy without any pretentious attitude.

actual name of the place - S'estanyol.
cala bonita is only the restaurant's name. various people have commented positively in the past few days.

A couple of more places I would recommend to take them to see the "other" side of Ibiza

Santa Gertrudis - lovely civilized little town & places to eat/drink ie Bar Costa somewhat unique
Sant Josep - cute town & Raco Verd, again nice courtyard for a quite drink
San Rafael - C'an Pilot for an interesting dining experience ( book first)
