Ibiza for NYE?

I'm flying into Madrid for business, and it seems only obvious to spend the weekend in Ibiza for NYE. The question... Where is the best place to stay? I was there in September but stayed in a private villa so I'm unschooled regarding hotel options. Prefer something nice in Ibiza town.

Also, what's the best place to score info regarding events for the night?
