Looking to book flights for next summer but can't find anything under £100. Both times previously I've done it fairly close to departure and cost me about £125, so I was hoping to be paying like £60 - £ 80 if I booked this early. Tried all the sites, am I being stupid hoping to pay that or do I need to wait a little longer to book ? It's just I hear stories on here that you book like a 2 week trip for 80 notes while muggins here is paying 300.

Depends who you fly with, some of the smaller airlines from the smaller airports like Thomson Fly you can still get return flights for about £80 on certain dates. I booked thru Easyjet on the day the flights were released last December and even they were £120 return. Thomson and BA were similar prices.
 
BA have flights for June/July 07, depending on dates prices range from £70-£110.
We paid £70 for this Sept.
 
Brilliant. Thanks ! Just checked BA, dunno why it didn't come up on that skyscanner thing that has been mentioned before but can get flights for £ 70. Wahoo. Booking next week. :D And Phil, yes I am tight, but when you owe about 15 k and have maxed out overdraft of £1600 before your 21st birthday and still wanna go on holiday then you have to be. :lol:
