i need some help but i got a few questions

1. im confused about the club scene out in ibiza. i see some club names like eden or space but then i read about all these parties, are these the different types of parties which the clubs hold?

2. are there many 18 - 22 year old in ibiza.

3. if there are many what clubs do they tend to go to, im guessing the cheaper ones but what specifics.

4. as im 18 n so r my mates im guessing we r likely to get asked for ID would a copy of the passport be ok.

5. would you consider ibiza for a group of lads on first time holiday.

we have NOT booked our trip just yet.
could you number your answer so it makes it easier for me.
thanks 4 da help

Hi!
I will try and help answer your questions for you.

1. Yes, there are various different clubs and they all hold different 'nights' every night. If you have a look at the party calender then this may make a lot more sense to you.

2. Yes, there are plenty of 18-22 yr olds in Ibiza, but there are a lot of people who are older as well. It is very different to the Maga, Malia, Zante etc scene which have a lot of first time holiday makers who are young there.

3. To be perfectly honest, there are very very popular nights on the island in every single club, but it completely depends what type of music you are into.

4. A copy of your passport should be absolutely fine (correct me if im wrong peoples)

5. I would definitely see it as an option, but as it is more expensive than the rest of the holiday destinations that I mentioned above, be prepared to pay a lot for tix, drinks etc!

Might seem like a silly question but what are you looking for out of this holiday?

I ask because I am not sure ibiza is. Going to be your best choice for a group of lads on a first time holiday.

Maybe they're under the influene of Kevin & Perry...

Above is all sound advice.

My personal advice would be to go Magaluf/Kavos/Malia - one of those three - have the time of your life, and then next year, or maybe a few more years later, come give Ibiza a try. You will certainly appreciate it a whole lot more, and as you'll be a little bit older you will most likely have a little more disposable income to make your visit go a little further! ;)

Eden, Space, Pacha etc are the names of the clubs
Many of the nights are run by outside promoters (We Love @ Space, Cocoon @ Amnesia for example) and some are run by the club (Pure Pacha @ Pacha for example)
Some are specific to a genre (sometimes 2 over different rooms of the club) - some are a mish-mash (i.e. We Love has several different styles on a night)

Loooooooooooooads

3. if there are many what clubs do they tend to go to, im guessing the cheaper ones but what specifics.

Depends on personal taste of music, DJs on, clubs they want to see what they are like and cost of the party (some parties are reasonably cheap and you might even get free passes for some on the island)

4. as im 18 n so r my mates im guessing we r likely to get asked for ID would a copy of the passport be ok.

to be honest i'm not sure - never been asked myself but i started clubbing there later than 18-20
search the forum, someone will have experience and knowledge to pass on

5. would you consider ibiza for a group of lads on first time holiday.

absolutely - you'll love it

if i can give you a suggestion go to mykonos(greece)!i did my first holiday with my mates there when i was 18 and i had so much fun!!!it's full of 18-21 people
and especially if you're not into electronic music/club scene i think it's a better choice!!it's a small island you can easily rent a scooter for 13-15eu a day and visit all the stunning beaches!there's lots of parties on the beach and lots of free clubs in the town+ if you want to do a big night there's cavo paradiso club each night they have one big dj!
Ibiza clubbing scene it's so huge and expensive and i don't really see the point to go there if you are not interested in this + you're 18 and you can't even rent a car and see this beautiful island!

I agree, my GF went at 18 and she hated it took me a while to convince her to go again 10 years later.... I love it now she does also but her first time was awful (yeah you know, that awful)...,

I think we all seem to be offering the same advice. We talk from experiance.

I am about to go ibiza for the first time and I am 30. Not saying wait that long at all but I think you would appreciate it more in a few years. Maybe early twenties. I went away with the boys for the first time when I was 18. Since then we have done falaraki, kos, kavos, zante 3 times, malia twice, tenerife, magaluf, spring break in cancun and vegas.

At 18 and for a few years after that I just wanted to drink beer and do shots all day until I was sick and have sex with as many girls as possible, although you soon learn girls don't want to sleep with boys being sick in the street. You want 2 for 1 cocktails, fish bowls, free shots and booze cruises. Do yourself a favour and go malia or magaluf. Both packed with 18-21 year olds all like minded. Not saying all this doesn't happen in ibiza as I haven't been but I can gaurentee you will get it in those places. When you want a change from bar crawls, booze cruises and doing 1 euro shots all day until you are sick, then book ibiza.

My advice do as many boys holidays as you can. You will have the time of your life!

It really depends what you want to go on holiday for! Do you love your dance music? Are you into going to see DJ's or do you just love getting drunk and ending up anywhere?

agree with most of above.

if drinking yourself dry is most important to you all then other destinations will be better. if you are more interested in dance music/dj's than drinking then come ibiza.

i went with friends when I was 18 with a slight interest in commercial dance music at the time, experienced james zabiela in space discoteca and suddenly was obsessed with underground techno & house music.

and that's what it's all about!

Personally i have never been to Ibiza with the intention of getting absolutely pissed as a fart in the west end every night, i come for the music and the whole scene that goes with it ;)
