ibiza end of sept

Hi, looking to go back to ibiza for 3 ngts 24th sept to 27th sept.

What is the island like this late in the season? Still busy? Also can I expect a bit of sun?
 
Closing party season, so pretty busy, I imagine. Dunno about the weather, but I'm guessing not as reliable as July/August. I've seen it p*** down in June.
 
We were there 21-28 Sept last year, was busy being the start of the closing parties, but the only party that was too crowded was Paradise Closing. Weather was reasonable, we had 4 really hot sunny days out of 7, a couple of the days were a bit overcast, but apparently the following week was beautiful. Bit of a gamble but I think it's a great time to go. Will be back this September. It's strange walking out of a club at 7am and it still being pitch black outside, it confused me the first time!

Its cooler in the evenings, not freezing, but not hot like in July/August and to be honest, it can be quite nice not dripping in sweat if you're trying to sleep or out partying.
 
Also, if your flights are cheap now, book them. Come August they will go up to stupid money because of the workers going home.

I can confirm this! Oct 1st - Oct 4th 2013 is the best weather I've ever personally experienced on the island! 8)
 
end of September in first weeks of oct can be very hot still.don;t just thing its july/aug thats hot.you will still burn if no cream on.

I think the end of September/beginning of October is the best time to go. Not too hot, everything still open and closing parties, the average age seems to creep up a bit as well as the oldies spend their winter fuel allowance on air fair ;) Also its nice to go back to the start of winter with a tan!

Yes, still busy, older crowd, mostly very hot afternoons with maybe some overcast mornings. I always go in September.
 
Thanks for all the replies. Pleased to hear it is an older crowd as we are all 30.

Flights are now booked 24th - 27th sept. Only £105 return from london. I thought that was a very good deal. Well pleased!

yes soon as space closes its mainly a older crowd left.and you can get around better.mornings can be misty but by 11am its clear and like i say can turn very hot.time of year its get a little cooler at night.and sometimes a bit mucky and sticky.£105 you lucky london prices.you may get the odd shower or downpour.but they don;t last too long.hit n miss really.but still pleasent enough.
