Hi all,

I'm planning a trip to Ibiza at the end of July-beginning of August. Where is the best place to stay in Ibiza? I'm looking for a place that's not extremely expensive and right where the party is.
Thanks!

Take a look at the accommodation section of Ibiza Spotlight.

There's loads of details on the various options including reviews, recommendations and the ability to book direct through the site itself.

it depends what your looking for really, are you looking for somewhere with loads of cheap bars? or somewhere a bit more upmarket? what music are u into? which clubs are you wanting to visit? etc

A lot of good hotels lie in both san an and ibiza town.
I have always lived in San An, except for 1 time in Ibiza Town. Both was good, I dont really care where I live cuz Im never at the hotel, its basically just a room to sleep and store my luggage in.

This year we are staying at hotel pacific. Its in san an, with aircon, pool ,bar ect supposedly o.k place. just near the egg.
I live in San An becuz it has the sunset strip which I find charming (for drinks not dinner, gone down market) - but certainly not becuz of noizy west end and the general younger crowd of lager louts.

We always have a car for the week, so we dont mind -

Ibiza town is good in general, a bit more mature audience there and more house oriented clubs nearby.

Ive stayed in
Piscis Park - utter crap avoid at any cost
Sol Y Mar - basic, basic, basic but nice view over the bay in san an and clean rooms
Roca Hostal - Extremely basic but sooo cheap, its like 20 euros a day! with bath and toilet in each room!
Diana - In San An bay close to Kumharas, too far away but the best standard of hotel Ive been in
Marina - In ibiza town, really nice and with aircon and fridge in the rooms, cheap, bad beds but in the middle of the town and nice surroundings
Catalina- Above Savannah on the strip - You cant beat the view and the nice rooms! amazing location, perfect!
Norte - Absolut crap! the only place that was worse, was Piscis Park.
