Ibiza by Bike!

Hi all, first time posting on this site but since I've got a pretty basic (and possibly insane) plan to travel to Ibiza next year and meet up with some friends for a 2 week holiday i thought this would be the best place to start getting information!

On the face of it a 2 week holiday doesn't seem too hard to figure out, and it usually isn't, but add to it that fact that I want to ride to Ibiza on my motorbike then the eyebrows start to raise slightly. Add in the additional factors that this will be a) my first long distance bike tour, b) my first time riding in foreign countries, and c) I've only been to the island once previously!

Any advice on riding to, in and from Ibiza would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be going on a Kawasaki 636cc sportsbike and will probably have sat-nav!

i know a few people who have biked to ibiza and they all said it was an amazing experience doing so.

the general theme seemed to be along the lines of it can be as long and experience-laden or as short and sweet as you like.

most of which depending on whether you paid your way and blasted through france on the toll motorways or attempted more scenic routes.

i'd say pay the toll as relatively its not that expensive and then just set yourself some cities to stop over in, strategically placed along the way.

by the title of the thread i was picturing someone riding to ibiza on their grifter
