Ibiza Bank Holiday August!

Ibiza Virgin here - going end of August. Anyone going to be there then?? 4 girls going & staying at Bahia, please tell me someone knows it, read mixed reviews!

Is that the Bahia in San Antonio Bay??
 
San Antonio bay is pretty grim, it is a clone of most holiday resorts. Although there are some gems to be found there...

If it's the one in the Bay I stayed there about 6 years ago, it was newly built then, really good sized rooms, separate lounge/kitchen area, good pool and nice location. At the time it was a Ministry hotel so they used to have really good DJs playing there for the Ministry pre-parties and it just used to be a clubbers hotel, it's changed a bit since then but if it's anything like I remember it it's a nice hotel.
 
I read the loaction is good, and the balconies are big, managed to find a few pictures, but it's always good to know....easy to get mislead with these things, it's actually listed as a 4*, but whether that's a normal 4* or a 'San Antonio 4*' I have yet to find out!
Is bank holiday generally a good time to go, it will still be hot end of August right??

I'd have definitely said it was 4* when it opened, I've not been back since then but it was def one of the nicest places I've stayed in Ibiza.

I've never been for Bank Holiday in August but you'll find it's still really busy and the weather will be good.
 
location wise, its cool. its in the bay but its nearer than most accomm in centre of San An to the small man made beaches (not recommended) and bars like Bar M, bay bar, itaca. it'd be a nice 10-15 min walk to the fountains in the centre of san an and the main bar/restaurant area.

it is also a fairly large hotel with decent pool.

like barbie said it has hosted various different club related events, including garlands, but i'm not sure if thats still the case.:?
 
Well thanks anyway, always good to know from people who know of have been to the place! I went Ibiza about 3 years ago for a long weekend and cant place where it is, anyone know if there is still a 'Nando's' on the bay??
 
I stayed there 3 years ago, its a really nice hotel, big rooms, nice pool. It's about a 20min walk to the start of the bars and clubs around the harbour.

Oh and Nando's was open last time I went, sure it still is ;)
