Ibiza at 19 Y/O

How is Ibiza for a couple 19 year old guys? Are there plenty of people this age there, or is everyone a tad bit older? Let me know!

I'd say depends. I didn't visit Ibiza until I was into my twenties.

Had I gone younger - 18/19 - I'd guess that I would've baulked at the cost of things: club tickets, drinks prices etc. for the simple reason being I was on a 18/19 y.o. wage and had less disposable income back then.

So maybe this has less to do with age, and more to do with finances.

Of course, they are budget options. Whether I could've afforded to do anything other than go down the West End every night, I don't know. I can certainly understand why some youngsters do exactly that.

You won't feel out of place because of your age, that's for sure. But what do you want to get from your hol?

@Alex Kahn are you heavily into your house music? If no, what are your tastes?

Like said above I think it all depends on what you want to get out of the holiday. If you just want to get smashed with your mates like a typical 'lad holiday' you probably better off looking at the cheaper destinations like Zante/Napa.

But if you really are set on Ibiza for all the big clubs and events that go on and can afford to spend abit more then by all means go for it! I first went Ibiza for my 21st and absolutely loved it because I am really into my techno/house music and no other party destination can offer the kind of nights Ibiza does. I even went to DC10 closing on my actual birthday on my own because my mates couldn't hack any more!

But if the nights and clubs aren't the main reason for going you may be better of somewhere cheaper where everyone is around 18 and all there just to get wasted!!

The one warning ill give you is once you've been Ibiza there is no going back! You will be hooked and want to go back every year so be prepared and enjoy!! :D

My first trip to Ibiza was when i was 19 and if you're serious about music and will actually take time to find out some nights you would like to attend once there and aren't there to 'get smashed with the lads and try to pull birds' then I couldn't recommend it enough, anyone that see's Ibiza as a lads holiday with just the two things on their minds (booze and girls) are seriously in the wrong frame of mind

The first time I went to Ibiza I was 22, and can remember my first Disco Bus experience reminding me of the school bus :p the average age looked about 17!
