yes, just looking at what it was then and what it's slowly turning into...

brings back memories as well....
 
Jeez.....If I had seen that first video I don't think I would have ever gone there.
Mullets, tashes and hairy Germans with tiny shorts on.....aint much from that that I miss.
Thought at least it was going somewhere with the leg shot towards the end (10.35)....until it panned up and there was another mousticioed Leipzigger giving me a gay do you want a feel of my franfurter smile.
From that little clip....give me 2011 any day.

From the videos I have seen the late 90's and early 2000's look like the best time for raving in Ibiza. And as much as folk moan which I understand its still special for those of us who didnt experience the hay day as times change. I love old football grounds and hate the word "stadium" and have been on many a terrace, but unfortunately times have changed and we now have to sit in modern arenas with seats for everyone as times have moved on. And Ibiza had to move on to :( I would love a return to the days of big raves on the beach and one day it might come back, but for now its still an amazing island with great music and something very special about about it which makes so many return year on year. Its amazing how many people take pride in saying how many times they've been when talking to folk there :D I will be saying 4th in June and starting to feel very connected with the place despite my short visits spent there.
