Went to Ibiza last year for 1st time and stayed at the Paraiso for 2 weeks with 5 mates. Absolutely loved it and wanted to return as soon as we got back to Britain. I biza for me is like a drug,once you have been there you wont wanna go anywhere else!! Problem I have is this year 2 of my mates would rather go to Malia,one cannot afford it and the other would rather spend a week in Portugal with his new girlfriend(boring). So the problem I have is do i go to Malia and spend two weeks wishing I was in Ibiza or do i go it alone and just book a cheap hostel and flights and once again have the time of my life on the white isle! Any1 else in a similar situation and would like to meet? Please reply to this or pm me.I havent booked anything yet and will go anytime July-Sept.

yeah...go alone! I might be headed to the island by myself too. none of my friends can afford or want to go. i'm trying to convince my friends who loves it as much as i do (and has been there twice), but a new job and to many temptations on the island might hold her back

- and will be there just "allone" again this year from the 22nd Sept. - 2nd Oct.
(I have the same problems: friends can't afford a trip, don't want to ect.

Whatever the frick you do, do NOT goto Malia. We went last year because all my mates think Ibiza is a trance druggy place and it was one of the worst places I have ever been. Think of the West end on steroids with 100x as many people. Actually, the west end is pretty tame compared to Malia.
Its like when Faliraki was at its worst, when they did the TV show. Fights all down the main roads, tons of pissed up football chavs everywhere and everyone is really pissed up and aggressive, nothing like the happy chilled atmos of Ibiza. And to top it off the music is total arse, like 3 years out of date cheesy cr@p, none of the new stuff like you get and expect in Ibiza. Its a complete sh!t pit, do NOT go, you will regret it deeply.
Thankfully this year I have a couple of mates who have seen the light and ten of us are going back to Ibiza. I would DEFFO go on my own though if I didnt have anyone else to go with. You can tag along with us if you want, check the dates in my sig. We are going for the Radio one weekend so it should be an awesome time to go and packed out
