came out more than 10 years ago, still the best they've made!!!

Counting Crows never quite hit that peak again, did they? I remember seeing them in concert in Boston in a sweaty nightclub when Mr Jones was the only song anyone else knew. Good show.

That song is my theme song, by the way... (everyone needs their own theme song!). I think it actually applies to a lot of people on Spotlight :lol:
 
yes, they never had the same success again after mr jones (but TBH i almost prefer all other songs on that album). only "big yellow taxi" got quite big again.

simply love their melancholic songs as: round here, raining in baltimore, anna begins etc...
 
The slower songs are better quality toons, of course. Anna Begins is awesome as is Raining in Baltimore.

Mr Jones is my favorite just because the lyrics are close to my heart, but it's not the best song on the album.
