I thought I should introduce myself

I've been randomly posting on spotlight for nearly 2 years now, been a bit of a lurker too.

But I've decided now after meeting Barbie briefly at MOS NDSM about 2 months ago that I'd really like to get to know you all better and hopefully meet up with out clubbing more than I have done so so far :) (don't ask why it took so long.. finals and all that... grr)

So hello, I'm nick, you can have a gander at my face at that deliciously upmarket website gaydar ( http://www.gaydar.co.uk/naddyz ) I'm currently living in Oxford, just finished my degree here and staying on working in a management consultancy firm here for the time being as the rents cheaper than london and my mates are all still here, but london is only a 24 hour bus service away, so will be down lots.

Huge dance music fan, have been since I started listening to the essential selection with pete tong when I was 12, tastes have now progressed from frankly revolting trance and hard house which I DJ'd as a whipper snapper to tech house/funky house/minimal/prog and mostly all things dark and dirty :D the darker and more twisted the better :D

so say hello, and since I'm now working in an office, expect lots of random postings during my 'downtime', most of which will be poorly executed humour.

Babs representing nicely as usual :D

Welcome to the board :P We have soooooo much fun here. ps. I am a Six Feet Under addict as well... makes anyone's life seem so normal LOL. Talk about the most dysfunctional crew I have ever seen lol.

pacha girl: I know you have so much fun here, i wanna get involved! You're stuck in the US right? come live in the UK.. at least for a bit, you'll never leave!!!

Hey Naddyz. I was a lurker up until a little over a year ago, so I know how you feel

The boards are definitely a fun place to be... and a great way to waste your office downtime

Oooooh sweetie, want to so very badly. I am coming to visit London on my way to Ibiza next September, so hopefully I will get to meet lots of you, I am soooo excited!!! Wonderful that you got to meet Barbie... she is one of the coolest chicks on the site. Can't wait to meet Babs in person someday.
:P

I've been thinking of moving outta here as of late... have been in SD area all my life. I am so interested in "what else is out there" for me to experience.... other cultures and lifestyles... instead of reading about it I want to LIVE IT. Sometimes I feel like I am living in a box :) Plus not too many people here are musically educated (house and trance) and it gets hard to relate after a while.

Well as I said in another post, people are calling for my wardrobe of alcohol so I must bounce, talk soon tho! :D -xoxoxo PG

My friendship can be so easily bought with a bottle of poppers

I think that was the night that the stupid woman took my bottle off me and I couldn't get them back til the end of the night so I was on the prowl for a sniff

Do come out to play for another Ministry sesh soon :D

:?

I am ultra enthusiastic and not too many peeps GET IT out here. Its gotten a lot better in the past year, but still. They don't see the thrill and enjoyment of electronic dance music. Most would rather booty dance to 50 Cent and push their pelvises into me rather than high five me for the kick ass drop the DJ laid down.

There used to be the COOLEST little club out here called L5 that brought SO many amazing acts (first place I saw my hubby Sander actually) and a musically educated crowd... the setting was very intimate and I met tons of wonderful people there. But once again, the almighty DOLLAR wins.... they closed it down so they could build a Hard Rock Hotel there    Just saw someone downtown last night that was an L5 patron... we reminisced for like 15 minutes about "the good old days" :P
