Returned home from a week long stay in San an bay with a friend, on Wednesday. After spending £1600 instead of my original £700 planned. Losing my bank card and giving my passport to a taxi driver. I can officially say I felt dead! My question. The miss's is going away with her mates in early may next year. So, as like all of you. Being an ibiza obsesser, automatically thought about booking a short break to the island. I've been in March and mid April before. And also went mid May this year. If I booked for San an/San an bay around 6-9th of May. What can I expect? I'm aware parts of the west end will be open (although this trip has made me think maybe those days are over) and that the sunset strip will be closed. What kind of other bars and restaurants will be open around town and the bay? And will there be any pre season parties?

if you‘ve been in mid may this year it‘s pretty simple to compare: on sunset strip mambo will still be closed while everything else is normally open by then. same for san an in general, maybe a few places not open still, but not many. you might be lucky if it‘s the medieval festival over in ibz town that weekend (haven‘t checked). if so, don‘t miss it
 
Thanks mate. I know it sounds daft but I went around the 20th of April last year. And around the 20th May this. Although there is only a matter of weeks apart, they were very different with regards to what is open/going on. I was just wondering, because these dates are in between, which it is likely to be most like out of previous two holidays. It's not that much of a big thing cause ibiza is ibiza right?
 
That's a bugger cause she's back on the 10th. Has anyone stayed around benniras/Portinatx that time of year? I'm guessing it's like a ghost town? I know I mentioned about bars and clubs but this is going to be just a chilling on beach on the beach listening to trance holiday really. Just don't want to be completely alone where ever I'm staying.
