I am looking to start experimenting with them, I currently have 2 technic 1200's and want to get one cd player to hook up and see what it can do.
Can anyone recommend a reasonably inexpensive make that will still be quality?

Thanks

Also, I would love any feed back that anyone has

Either the Pioneer 800´s or 1000´s.

There is no other way.

(By the way, if anyone from Pioneer´s reading this endorsement. Send me a couple).

I presume that you want to experiment with CD decks because you want to broaden your horizons when it comes to mixing ability and effects? I suggest that you save up and get a set of pioneers, they piss all over any other CD deck i have used and the amount of features they have is outstanding. If you want to get really clever hook them up to a DJM600, they have this set up in a club i play in and its awesome.

I think you all missed the point he said

.... hence i said they ought to save up ;)

I would really like to get some nice ones right away, but I want to be certain that I like the feel of the CD's.

Start off with a Pioner CDJ-100 - its got lots of useful basic features for DJ'ing, all you need to start off with. I got a set as well that have stood the test of time.

Thanks.

I have been DJ'ing for about 6 years and want to try and play around with the effects and other bells and whistles that you can get on CD players.

Then get the Pioneer CDJ-800 - got everything the 1000 has except hot cues.

Thanks, I am going to have to save up some money and go check this out. It looks like a quality player.

Come off it, the Denon's are far more superior and not built like something from fisher price or Tomy.

The Denon's are quality. They would be in all the clubs if the Pioneer's hadn't been designed first. I've got the 3000 and I'm more than happy with it.

Exactly. When I went to pick up the Denon JB's were out of stock, I nearly got the pioneer but the manager strongly advised me to wait till they had them again, after playing on a mates pioneer I'm so glad I did!!!

dont even bother with the pioneer 800. Can't believe they've even been mentioned here.

Has anyone got the latest technics cd deck?
