A bit of rain and wind and the whole county of Essex cant handle it - stuck on my usual train which takes 45 mins for TWO HOURS 45 MINS, because the power had gone off/lines had come down - wtf -and even then I had to get off a few stops earlier and get picked up as I could not bear being on the train one more second.

This country generally sucks, all rain, doom and gloom, misery, cold :spank:GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Rant over!

I am still smiling...... nearly 2 weeks without a HMW strop

and apparently I didnt realise just how HM I actually was until I was explaining to my friend that every morning the alarm goes off, Phil nudges me to get up and then pops the alarm on snooze for 10 mins, when it goes off again, he then makes me get up, he then goes back to bed cos he doesnt need to get up for another 40 mins.

She just looked at me and said

 "you're spoilt......................"

Apparently im high maintenance

The girl @ work laughs at me & my nan even called me spoilt bitch because of the presents i got for christmas , she calls me the Dutchess

My hmw's "mother to be" updated rules and regulations state that:

she cannot enter the kitchen for any reason, in case she smells something that makes her feel queasy, (oranges did it the other day!).

This means that i now cook, clean and wash, launder etc etc. as well as my usual roster of duties .

cushion positioning on the sofa, historically a favourite "HM" topic in our house has also been elevated to new levels due to her increased need for comfort.

I am also now required to read minds in order to see if the HMW is hungry, as mentioning food at the wrong time may upset her delicate condition.

AT least it's good practise for parenthood

Mrs Jam was pretty HMW first time round but now with Mini Jam II inside her has turned into very LMW

(A bit too LM if you ask me but that's another story)

I came back from Spain & Portugal last week and she's redecorated the lounge and dining room!

Nesting Mode in full swing ;)

Hmmm, perhaps I need to have a shake up at home.

The alarm is on my side as Shelley ignores it, set for 6:30, at which time I turn it off, get up to make her a coffee, wake her gently so as not to trigger 'an early morning outburst'. I then get back into bed ensuring I don't nod off so as to ensure Shelley doesn't go back to sleep! She don't do mornings too well:eek:

Oh dear... I get a lot of these. Irina is also not a morning person... Really puts you in a great mood as you head off to the office!

I'm not actually allowed on the sofa. It's "her sofa". That's along with all the coffee cups that I'm not allowed to use and several other theoretically communal items that, in reality, are apparently only "hers"

When did this become specific to HMW?:lol:

Stick in there m8, you are nearly over the brow of the hill.................

I'm pleased all your reaction was one of empathy :lol:

Believe it or not, last night, she had a craving for beans on toast WITHOUT the sauce it comes in, to which i struggled to comply (drain the can of beans then microwaving on high power did the trick)

I felt strangely proud of myself, but will not be bragging to the lads about it over a beer.
