I booked - oh dear...!

I managed to find myself a return flight for £120 and I've just booked

leave saturday, come back wednesday, my weekend plans are now FAR better than they were before

I am probably more excited than I've ever been in my life.

Coupled with that my company I work for got sold today and I got given a load of share options 8) so in 2 years time when I can sell the shares I can take all of you for a drink at the next closings

what a brilliant day!

nice one...I booked next week off work for going back for the closings, even have euros that I've kept from the last trip in August, but not going though something in my brain has stopped me from returning...all the best though.

Far too excited but it weirdly hasn't sunk in properly yet - since I booked yesterday and got completely wasted last night to celebrate I've not even thought about packing or anything. Gonna be up late tonight washing and blow drying clothes

tried to be spontaneous, just back on monday there, dying to get over tonight for manumission closing but easyjet dont fly out from belfast or any british airport at all so gutted!!! boooooooooo for easyjet!!!

Zarvtron did you get a package or book flights just through a travel company????

same days as me! you flying from glasgow? I am so excited, i only booked last week, so still cant actually believe i am going for the 3rd time this season! Sure i'll see you in space on sunday, i'll be the one with the biggest smile on their face! haha!

I found cheap flights on lastminute but they'd sold out, but they were available on flythomascook.com also - but only gatwick out, stansted in, which doesn't really bother me.

If I had left the next day or come back the next day the prices shot up unbelievably.

Seriously , if i lived in the UK or Europe, i'd just take a 4/5 day weekend for each of the opening and closings... and still have enough holiday time to head to somewhere further away or more exotic. the way it is now... i have to use ibiza as my holiday, because it takes waaaay to long to get to

With the expense of getting there from here, by the time you factor in 2 people, it's not long weekend trip material. Definitely envy people in the UK who can basically fly there for less than I spend on a weekend going out around here.

only thing with british flights, it's cheap to get there but they hike the price for your return...eg. if I flew tomorrow it'd be £33.99 which is great, but then £149 to get home. I'd love to have gone, but then though christmas is on the way...

true my flight to ibiza was 25 pounds... but return portion was looking at 50 pounds... I flew to Paris instead for 60 euro from ibiza... so still quite cheap

I wonder if anyone has ever booked a single flight out, then a single flight back...be a bit risky though
