Hyte

the full artist list is out, but the night by night line ups come probably start of next week

bit disappointed no schwarz when we're there 21 Sept - I thought he was weekly ressie?!

and what does kenny dope play these days? is he still on the MAW classic house tip or more techy?

no, henrik schwarz was never going to be a weekly resident.

haven't heard kenny dope for a while myself so can't really tell.

any idea how the afters at Cova Santa works? Do you have to actually go to Hyte and get a wristband, or could I just turn up at the afters without having been to Amnesia?

I'm sure you can rock up without a wristband - you'll simply pay at the door then.
also, just to be specific - these parties will start at 4pm, so it's not a seamless transition from club to afters.

nice one. yeah, give me time to get some much needed kip! still weighing up between this and Dance 88/89 closing, so if I go to that will just go to the afters instead, sure a couple of the headliners will be on.

I'm really not a fan of an afters that takes place 6-7 hours after the party itself has finished...

IMO the whole point of an afters is to continue on after the party has finished because your not ready to go home... I certainly wouldn't want to go home, sleep and come back out again.

countless discussions about this on the forum already.. parties before 4pm are forbidden in ibiza and it's not likely to change under this government. end of it.

Hyte lineups are pretty much exactly as expected a whole lot of Loco Dice, Liebing, Pan Pot and the linkup with Fuse. Couple of interesting ones in July 6 and August 3, but overall nothing really overly exciting but pretty consistent in my opinion. My opinion stays the same as last year though, I dont really see a big draw to this night being in the middle of so many better parties, but I guess we'll have to see how year 2 unfolds.

July 20th really stands out for me. wish I could be there for that one...

agreed. that, and maybe the pan-pot all nighter are the only dates that stand out for me and really make me wanting to go. the rest is consistent as chris says, more so than last year. but yeah, with all the competition on the same and surrounding nights it won't be any easier than in 2015. I am sure they will get better numbers, the question is how much.

nothing there really excites me tbh - loads of tech and not a lot of house.

if I go, it will be strictly for the social dimension, larking about with old pals but that's it

Quite fancying June 29th for Robert Hood and Pan Pot. Haven't heard loco dice before, any good and is it a worth while party to go to in itself Robert Hood and Pan Pot aside?
