Seems there are at least a few names doubling up with Cocoon and Hyte (Mano Le Tough & Henrik Schwarz so far). Even without week by week lineups i still favor Cocoon over Hyte, still interested to see what they present week in week out and what kind of crowd they draw being smack in between Cocoon/Enter/Music On.

I pretty much agree, not being a huge fan of any of the 3 of them myself this doesnt really appeal to me. Im actually more of a fan of some of the smaller players like Agoria, Koze, Tini and then the larger names that appeal to me are Pan Pot, Dettman, Mano Le Tough, Tennis but unless i stumble upon a picture perfect lineup somehow i'd give it a pass.

Music On is obviosuly the most popular these days, so wonder if Cocoon will leave after this..

Personally I wouldn't blame Sven & Johannes for wanting to jump ship next year as they really appear to be treated with little respect year-in year-out.
I guess it'll depend on whether: a) Hyte sinks or swims in 2015, b) if it hits Cocoon's numbers either way, c) if Cocoon would even benefit from switching venue - arguably they wouldn't.

The thing about HYTE as I see it, is Loco Dice isn't even there every week. Is Chris Liebing (as much as I love him) going to fill the Main Room?
Even though MusicON may win on numbers, I think even Amnesia probably think Marco will have some new diva fit and move on, so in 2016 Cocoon and HYTE may be the Techno nights.
Personally, I really liked Marco at Ushuaia for closing, and I'm not usually a massive Marco fan. Give him marathon 8 hour sets at Ushuaia on a Friday. Someone in this whole Techno World needs a game-changer or a wedge issue. Something to stand out. Marathon day sets at Ushuaia would get some attention.
Surprised he hasn't moved for something like this already tbh. Would free up a 1 night a week to play elsewhere and earn even more €€€€€€€€€€€€€

amnesias atmosphere is different that ushuaia.
and marcos people need this atmosphere.
u dont find it any else where on the island even @ cocoon or enter
I quite agree, and personally I wouldn't be so keen on him moving away from Amnesia terrace. But having heard what Marco commands for a fee wouldn't be surprised if Ushuaia could turn his head, should they so wish.

Agree it is unique and and massive workers atmosphere..... Be interested just how much MusicON takes on the door, and at the bar Vs Cocoon..... even though Music ON pack more people in....how many are spending money! Damn I'm such a bean-counter....
Yes, favourite club space. Carola going hell for leather with the sun shining through and everybody on the terrace powering through is quite an experience.

When i saw Chris in the Main Room last season there was only about 40 people on the floor. Not that marquee name.

we were discussing this yesterday.
musically hyte has definitely a strong line up, with a few very interesting names such as barnt, john talabot, matthew dear, monoloc, agoria, rodhad etc etc etc. but in year one, and with all the competition they have, they need to get lots of people into amnesia to establish themselves. and I agree to the above - on the whole line up released so far, only dice and plex are real crowd pullers IMO. gonna be an interesting one to watch.
