Tim got bitten by what we think was a mosquito while we were in Ibiza,( we didnt see what bit him )and his finger went a weird mottly purple colour, the colour gradually went back to normal, but now back in Britain, that finger seems to be constantly cold, hubby just asked if anyone else had this happen, and what did you do to sort it out thanks x

Could it have been a spider ? Their bites do all sorts of strange things depending on the species .. I still have scars on my shins from spider bites which wound up turning into open sores which took months to heal. Sorry .. that's probably hugely unhelpful

... if it was a mozzy it'll probably pass in time - not a lot you can do really !

I would agree with my learned colleagues above diagnosis......

Just in case we are wrong.... have a silver bullet nearby and avoid letting him out on a full moon:)

Tim loathes going to the drs, which is why I asked if anyone else on here has suffered from the same thing,
but if its still the same in a few days I,ll drag him to the drs

I remember having something similar happen to me in Ibiza. It was not a mosquito. An insect they dont tell the tourists about seemingly.......:?I went to the local doctor at the time and they prescribed me an anti-biotic and antihistamine. It went away after a few days.

I would say go to the doctor on this one as it sounds like a circulation problem if his finger is going cold......
