Ok so new to the forum...hello all!!

Was in Ibiza start of July (2nd time)

Going back in September this year!! Cannot wait.

We are going back solely for Dimitri closing party on Sunday the 18th Sept
Flying out Friday night and returning Tuesday afternoon

So because I don't want to cook my brain for Dimitri on the Sunday how would you play the Saturday??

I am thinking Ushuaia for the day then at midnight cross the road into Space for Elrow, Pop a disco biscuit towards the end of Ushuaia and carry on into Elrow....Then sleep Sunday for at least 8 hours and Hit Bora Bora late afternoon and then Amnesia again for Dimitri.

OR

Just do Ushuaia on the Sat on disco biscuits and then hit Amnesia on the Sunday as there is more rest in between

Really looking for the well seasoned replies on this

I just want to make the most of the short stay and not be ruined for the Dimitri closing

Is two consecutive days on disco biscuits cool?

Back to work on the Wednesday so will chill on the Monday and Tuesday

Sounds like you have already cooked your brain wanting to pay to see those clowns !!!

Anyway 2 nights running is a bad idea, but do able but you will feel less the second night and the following week horrendous.

Not sure rules on harm reduction here but plenty of resource around

I think its a different Dimitri mate...

Recovery time really depends on your age and what sort of state you are in heading into the trip. If you are in your twenties and well rested before you should have no problems taking both on....if you are older you will just need to pace yourself more and make sure you get a good rest, plenty of water, berocca, a good feed and not much booze between sessions....simples

Thanks for replies
Yeah it is Dimitri Vegas night but there will be a handful of other DJ's there....Top night!

Elmooreo is this something you do?

I am late 20's and am well into my fitness it is just more so my brain...I plan on sleeping 8-10 hours on the Sunday morning in between the events so hopefully I get a good enough kick for the Sunday.
After all how else can you dance for 7 hours?

Drug-taking guidance counselling  ... now I've read it all. Surely this is down to the person and how they handle things, just as whether getting blotto 2 nights in a row is do'able or not. Some people are cookie-monsters and others can't handle an oreo. If you ain't sure you'll be able to handle what you have planned then probably best err on the side of caution and lay off, eh ?

Yeah fair play Kimjay is right...really all depends on you. And yes, you should be looking to rest, drink water, eat well and avoid alcohol whatever your age. Most important thing is just to pace yourself and just do what feels right for you.

When I started all 'this' it happened by accident and through trial & error (not c/o the advice of strangers on the internet). Part of the terrifying beauty of it all was not having a clue what was going on, what was happening to my head, not knowing or caring who was DJing or why I was suddenly telling australian grebos at an Acton squat party that I felt a total kinetic understanding with them. Ultimately Luke only YOU can go with the force, whatever direction that takes you in. So if you're not sure how many discos you can pack into one night, take it easy and see how it goes. make sure you're with mates and make sure they're real mates. If Dimitri from Vegas is the highlight of your trip then don't cash in all your chips at once...

Dancing for 7 hours shouldnt be a problem in your 20s if you've had plenty of rest or dont suffer any physical injurys? I find that quiet strange... Ive done it on the disco sweets and without, without any major struggle

Last year my knee joints started to flare up (due to work) after doing 3 club nights in a row it set it off i was in dc10 main room when it happened, its simple listen to your body, if you feel achy, stop take a breather for an hour. I sat down in the corner of dc10 garden talking and drinking with total strangers but felt like we had as much in common as your own friend due to the common knowledge of MUSIC.
