Happy 2007 people (thats the pleasantries done)...;)


I just got a phone call from a mate of a mate who I haven't spoke to in about 4 years. I ask him how he is (he's grand....nice one) and then what he is up to now.....Wrong question.


He works as a porter in a morgue dealing with bits of people and whats left of them after RTA's.....Nice8)

How do people do these jobs, I always thought he was a bit off beat but blimey that's heavy going. How does he enjoy his spag' boll. Probably has toe in the hole for dessert.

I had a friend... well actually, more like someone i'd always see at the clubs I went too at university and he was a mortician... He said the pay was fabulous!!

This guy always used to paint his fingernails black however
 
my old flatmate Mark who is a paramedic, used to tell me some of the most gross stories......

He used to go out with a lass who worked in the mortuary and for "a laugh" they used to play tricks on unsuspecting "new joiners" for example - from the spare limbs draw (from RTA's etc) they once found a foot and put it in one of the newbie's wellington boots that he used to have to wear whilst cleaning up - 8O 8O

It is a bit of an odd job I guess....... but good on your friend for doing it.
Someone has to, rather him than me though :lol:
