Interesting that flying the artist around for promotions and courting radio directors with fancy dinners (and the rest, no doubt ..) accounts for about 2/3 of it. Funding all those bling blang lifestyles for the bosses and hangers-on is never going to be cheap !!

Makes me want to boycott buying music altogether seeing those figures .. oh wait - I don't buy 'hits' anyway !!
