im goin to ibiza on sat 20th of aug for 2 week and i dont have a clue how much to take. not plannin on budgeting and wanna go abit wild. is it really as expensive as everyone makes out? how much do u think i should take?[/img]
 
i spent £400 in a week and the hotel i was stayin in was all inclusive. expect to pay around 100 euros on a big nite out or even more.
 
I am going out there for a week in Sept. A few mates have just got back and from what they have said, I am taking £750 - I want to go wild! :eek:
 
Be sensible with your money and don't get carried away i.e take carryouts to the beaches etc i spent 600E in my first 2 days and 400E in my last 4/5 days. You can spend as little or as much as you want. My advice is to take travellers cheques and split them up evenly for each day you are there.
 
most ive spent is £1500 in 2 weeks, ive also been and only spent £900 in 2 weeks. This year i am really struggling and may only manage 700. im not worried though cause before i used to eat in good resturants every night and splash out. i believe it can be done cheaper
 
I spent Lots more than that.

When I go I go out every night though.

If you're going clubbing then you'll need loads
 
i spent around 800 euro for 8 nights.

you can "save" money on tickets. there are always pr's runing around and selling cheap tickets...regular ones.
 
I go in 10 days time for two weeks.Me and the wife are taking 2 grand with us plus the visa if need be.Ive worked out about 7 club nights/days that we will attend.Then travel about the island more this year.

im planning on going out clubbing every night for a week and i can only afford to take 400 maybe 5. call me naive but i believe it can be done. in fact i know it can because i have done it before a few times! i'd like to be able to afford to eat out at nice places every night and go to really nice bars but i know thats not an option right now. ill look forward to doin that once i get a decent job! for now im happy to drink on the rocks and scrimp on food (dont think ill be too hungry anyway!) as long as i can afford to buy tickets for my fave club nights and some great pre parties then ill be happy. in my experience girls seem to be able to get away with spendin alot less on nights out over there and nights out in general. all the guys i know seem to quite easily spend 100+ some nights over here. mainly on drink. i don't think i could if i tried. thank the lord im a lightweight!
 
This is pretty much where my money went, i was out there for 8 nights, and wasn't really watching the pennies too hard, tho i probably should have because none of my cards are working at the moment and i owe my mate some cash...

1 x Nice, square meal per day with drink = 10 - 15 Euros
1 x Entry to decent club night = 20 - 45 Euros, sometimes get free drink or bus - i.e Armada
1 x Taxi to San Rafael = 20ish Euros per car
1 x Taxi to Playa D'en Bossa = 30ish Euros per car
1 x (LARGE) Vodka Mixer: Privilege = 10 Euros
Amnesia = 13 Euros
Space = 12 Euros
Pacha = 12 Euros
Bar M / Mambo etc. around 7 - 8 Euros
1 x Shit tiny bottle of water in a club = 8 Euros - by far the worst thing about Ibiza.
1 x Bus home = 1.5ish Euros

I think the key is if you want to drink and not spend a load of cash, obviously get shitfaced before you go to the clubs either in cheap bars or at your accomodation. You can always wangle free shots and drinks out of bars you visit regularly.

If you're careful i reckon you could enjoy a full week on around 500 - 600 Euros, without being too flash or too scabby with your cash.

Ps -Dont buy a vodka redbull in Space - it's 17 Euros (£13 - i nearly cried)
 
I've remortgaged my house and reckon on taking about 30k :eek: . This may not be enough given my (marathon) proposed diary of nights out.

Got back two weeks ago and i spent £1400 in two weeks, and to be honest i could have spent more. had to take it easy in the second week a bit.
 
I'm going for 2 weeks wit £1000 and have done the last 5 years aswell and I still manage to get all my clubbing done and have 2 weeks of mayhem. It's the way that u spend it. ;)
 
Last year i spent just under £1400 for two weeks and survived very comfortably- drunk where we pleased, ate where we wanted, did all the club nights we wanted to do splashed out and it was brilliant, however you could easily survive on a lot lot less- all the luxuaries like drinking in bars could easily be replaced with alcohol from the supermarket and things like taxi's replaced with busses and no sunloungers on the beach it is easy to cost cut if you have to.
 
Last year i only took £650 for 2 weeks and i managed fine. I went to 4/5 big club nights and we ate out a lot at nice restaurants.
I did struggle on my last day though and my friend had to buy me dinner :lol:

This year im going with my boyfriend and were taking £1000 cash and taking the visa to pay for all the evening meals we have which will be almost every other night but its 10 nights this time. We only plan on doing 4 big club nights and one of those we dont have to pay for.

You can spend as little or as much as you like, either way its very easy to do
