How hot is it really in May?

Hi all,

Going to Ibiza for the first time in May (25th to be exact) and just wondering what the weather is like noramlly at this time of year. Have checked average temps but im not sure how hot that really is! Is it hot enough to sunbathe or do water sports?

Excelent time of the year to spend the day in the beach: perfect for sunbathing without roasting yourself, very long days and considering the non-winter we had, definitly you'll be able to swim with no problem.Don't forget to explore the island, this time of the year looks gorgeous with all the fiels and woods in full spring explosion ;)
 
May is great

Always go in either 3rd week of May or 1st week of September ourselves, generally have very nice weather, and without the crowds!

Am sure you will have a great time....
 
May is great not too packed and plenty hot was there last year had a fantastic week, not many of the big clubs open but the westend is in full swing.
 
It might not be that hot but don't be fooled by the sun, it'll be very strong and you will burn even more than you would in august
 
Great time to go.
Plenty warm enough and the island and its workers are fresh and looking forward to the season8)
