Hello everyone and apoligies if this topic already covered?

i'm off to Ibiza in september & will be camping @ cala nova, as i will be camping, then ofcourse it mean's i'll be self catering & although i will be eating out most night's, hopefully in the typical non touristy restaurant's if there are any that still exist? However for eating during the daytime ( as i'm an eataholic ) how much are the basic food product's that can be found in the supermarket's for picnicing etc? The last time i visited Ibiza the currency was around £1 = 230 pesetas and shopping self catering style was very cheap, can i still expect too find that that's still the case with today's modern Ibiza? I'm not concerned about the nightclub's as i won't be visiting any, hopefully my evening's entertainment will be drinking with the local's:D

Thank's Sue for reassuring me that not all i've heard concerning Ibiza has changed:D As for Cala Nova looking @ a modern day map of Ibiza it is situated on the N.E part of the Island,my last visit there back in 1986 was a really laid back affair as it boasted just one hotel and a campsite ( i'll probably find it's now like a mini San Antonio LoL ) & a small cute bay which did have some dangerous water's due to it's undercurrent's. " One thing is for sure, Sue" when i have my day trip out to San Antonio i'll look your bar up & pop in for a few drink's and too say hello8) I just need too get august out the way, then my mind, body & soul will be at peace for two wks of total relaxation:) Once again thank's for your comment
