How easy is it to get from san an bay to ibiza town either through the day or on a night out?

Would love to go through the day sightseeing and wouldnt mind using the bus.

Want to do a couple of nights out there too but would prefer to go by taxi. Im worried that i wont be able to get back though! ha. Is there plenty of taxis? Im going in peak season. How long does it take/cost?

very easy....

theres a regular bus service that runs ever 15 mins from san antonio to the town and back again, later into the night is Disco Bus, which from my memory runs every half an hour all the way through the night both ways too, the fare is peanuts (a couple of euros i think). Taxi is another option although finding a taxi coming back from ibiza town to san an in the early hours can be difficult, are is around 15euros depending on which part of san an your in and where in the town you get dropped off.

bus would probably be best, it goes from the harbour in san to the middle of the ibiza town which is about ten minutes walk from dalt vila. bus takes around twenty minutes and taxi half that:)

During the day you need to buy a ticket from the ticket office at the harbour in san before you get on and the same when comming back, the only exception is if you are on the disco bus when you can pay on board. The disco bus gets absolutely rammed in peak season and is a bit daunting trying to get on from the town back to san an so i would avoid unless that doesnt bother you, good thing about it though is that it drops off at various places around San An:)
