How early to get to Bora Bora to get a sunbed?

Hi all

We're planning to be at Bora Bora on Friday 29th, and Sunday 31st July.

What sort of time do you have to pitch up to get a sunbed these days? And are they still the amazingly comfortable ones with mattresses and sheets, lol? Best beach sleep we've ever had. 8)

well still loads left to rent at 12.30 pm on july the 5th when i walked past.music does not start till 4pm anyway.yes still white sheeted
 
Bora Bora was in good form last September. Much better than the previous couple of seasons.

People evolve and change. I don't get as excited about Bora Bora as I did in the first few seasons I visited. And there have been more options in PdB lately. But BB is still very much BB.
 
Excuse my ignorance but has Bora Bora even tried to compete. You can only go on reputation and history for so much before people move onto bigger and better things.

Maybe they need to work with a label and start promoting some big parties and drum up some interest.
 
I wasn't having a bash at BB by the way,just a pithy generalisation meant to inspire those that might feel as woody does...

My mate was staying in san an.he came over to see me in pdb.and wanted to see what all the hype was about bb.on walking in.no one was eating.it looked like it was shut.but we could see a few people on the dancefloor.wow a old couple in there 60;s out there face.on the front bit there was only 25 people.again out there tree.

is this it my mate said.this was 10.30pm.all where still in beach wear and tops off.smell was unreal.and when my mate offered to buy a drink.the look on his face was a picture.6 euro a pint.mine you he said he paid 5 euro for a coke at mambo.

10 years ago when dj gee was doing it.i used to nip in for a quick look.it was packed every night.just a shame it was not busy on that monday 27th july.what a let down.
the new music law may have effected it.but it needs a refit i think again.

its still an anatraction.don;t let me put you off going. it;s one of those places you have to stay you have been to.and can tick off the list.
 
i know its a beach bar.but at night it used to be busy with not just beach wear people,but nighters as well.things change i guess in time.
