how does one pronounce majorca?

when we learnt spanish at school

they taught us that where 2 l's appeared you pronounced it as "y"

so mallorca would be spoken "ma-yorca"

but a "j" is more glottal so majorca would be "ma-horca"

i think??? :confused:
 
The sound of LL is really difficult to pronounce by people that is not from Mallorca... like other england sounds... a bit difficults for me! :oops: :!: :)

LL is a middle way beetwen J and Y...
