J jjinit New Member Apr 11, 2008 #5 when we learnt spanish at school they taught us that where 2 l's appeared you pronounced it as "y" so mallorca would be spoken "ma-yorca" but a "j" is more glottal so majorca would be "ma-horca" i think???
