How do you actually pronounce 'Ushuaia'?

How they got that from the spelling of it, is beyond me lol

I mean the city. Southernmost major city on the planet and all that.

I'm curious to go. I have a friend who has been a few times on his way to South Georgia and Antartica.

Or I guess Bloemfontein in S. Africa.

Cracks me up this thread - no-one ever worried when it was just a beach bar, but now it's gone all fancy no-one wants to look silly not knowing how to say it

when denoting excitement about a legend behind the decks at said establishment, I believe it is customary to go (using the above as a benchmark) oo-swyhyyyyah - in a "way-hey" sort of way ...
