How do I post pictures

Can anyone help me? I want to post some pictures on the site but do not have a clue how to do this.

Can someone provide written instructions?

the photos have to be on the net. you can't post pics from off your computer, so upload them to one of the many free online galleries

above where you write your posts is a button which says Img

click it, past the web address of the pic and click close tags


voila.....

The last part of the web address should be the filename. That file has to be a jpg or gif.

You posted the address of the page where your photo is located (that's why it ends in ".html"), but not the actually address of the photo.

To find out the photo's exact location, put your mouse pointer over the photo, right-click with the mouse, and choose "properties". The full address is there. You can even highlight it and hit ctrl-c to copy the text, then paste it where you need to.

I right clicked but it didn't have a properties option? It did have a copy link location option or something :?

Honestly I am really happy I can do this now. I'm going to post up Pics everyday! (The last bit was a lie!) :lol:

No.
I don't know why but when you upload a pic from fotki you see it and in ten seconds it's a red cross.
 
Wierd! Last night at home, I swear the photos were visible. Sandi and I were having a great bonding moment over the visibility of her very flattering picture :lol:

Now it's all over... ruined... by those evil photo site people :evil:
