as phil said, there are always hundreds of (relatively unknown) dj's going to ibiza and try their luck. keep this in mind and be realistic. you're going to world's party-destination no. 1 where the world's best dj's are playing every day and night and sometimes even really good and well-known dj's don't get any slots to play. so your chance to get a gig in one of the big 7 clubs is really really small. BUT, if you do arrive early in the season, make a lot of contacts, can prove you're really worth being heard, you might be able to get gigs in bars in ibiza town, playa d'en bossa or san antonio. there are a lot of smaller places that never could affort big name dj's. keep also in mind that many dj's come back already for their second, third,...season and they will get gigs more easily than you because they already have the contacts and maybe have played a gig here or there. so, if you're really serious about it, be prepared for a hard first season and maybe being more succesful in your 2nd and 3rd season. but if you really want to do it, then go for it - you ain't got nothing to lose. good luck mate!
