Hey guys ... we are cooming back to ibiza this summer and we are thinking on renting different house than last years.
anybody has anything to recommend? would prefer somewhere on Eivissa part of the island in range from Cala Jondal to Talamanca.
6 people, pool, private, up to 3000€ per week.

You have to be so careful. There are so many people out there trying to f*** you. They all want wire transfers which makes it even more suspicious. Atleast if its on a credit card you can get your money back.
 
What's wrong with wire transfer?
No down payment no rental contract. I am not going to block my house 2 weeks mid July just to note, that nobody shows up.
Could be quite a substantial loss.
 
I am in the US so a contract means nothing. I would have to go to court in Spain if someone took me for a ride like was done to me last year. By wiring money you are at the mercy of the person you are wiring money too. If the owner accepts credit card and has a refund policy in place on the contract it protects both people entering the agreement. I see your point but look at the renters also.

I have been speaking to a villa rental company who has good and bad reviews. The good ones are from google plus accounts that look like were created simply for that one sole review. I called my credit card company and sent over the contract that this villa company drew up and my credit card company asked for them to state I would be paying by credit card and they are refusing to add that to the contract but are willing to accept payment in credit card.

All of these places are f***ing shady. I would much rather have a villa but you have no idea what you are getting until you show up. Well atleast for me because I have no serious contacts in ibiza. A lot of the ones form the site are booked or too far from all the clubs
 
Villas through this site are hastle free and fully legit. you can talk to / get hold of people whenever. Worked great for us
 
i found vill that suites me on this website (ibiza spotlight) and it seems they are very professional, so i trust them. now this is done and next mission is rent a car :) thank you all for advices and help ;)
