i am going on my first trip to ibiza - it is 4 of us girls - what area is the best to stay in? We are looking at a hotel in playa d'enbossa, the torre del mar hotel - does anyone have any feedback re: this hotel ? is it too family-oriented, or all couples?? or suggestions on other hotels?

someone will be able to help! im an ibiza 1st timer aswel lol! when are you going? im going to San Antonio June13th

hi - i will be going in aug-september- we will be doing some clubbing but not constant, so we are looking for a hotel that is close by but also want something clean and safe. have you booked hotels yet?

yes i have checked some of those also. have you been to ibiza? im trying to figure out how close we need to be to nightlife etc, are most things in walking distance? it seems the island is very small

It's a small island, but its pretty big at the same time...,

This will be my 4th trip there.
Within Playa d'en Bossa you have Space and Bora Bora, the other places you will need to take a taxi.

Is it a hotel or apartments you're after?

If apartments will do, what about the Jet in Playa d'en Bossa, just by Bora Bora and Space? They do larger rooms as well so you can all be together. It's also more geared towards slightly older clubbers (ie not screaming in the middle of the night) so there are virtually no families.

Otherwise, the Sirenis Jabeque on the border between Playa d'en Bossa and Figueretas is very good, although you'd need to get two twin rooms. If you book direct with them, it's very reasonable for what is an excellent place to stay.

I stayed at the Torre del Mar a couple of years a ago. It's very clean, all the rooms have air con and a mini bar - what more could you possibly need?

Also, Space and Bora-Bora are a 5 minute walk away.

Thanks. so you think the torre del mar is worth the extra money? the apartments are so cheap but i am wondering why - are they gross

If you can afford it, I would go for the Torre del Mar. If you're gonna be clubbing every night it's a much nicer place to chill and re-charge your batteries in the daytime.
