hotel vedra, sol bahia & marfil in san an. ?

Am tossing ideas around of a few places in san antonio... only looking for 2-3 nights...

Anyone have any experiences at the very simple Hotel Vedra? "Ventilators" in room suffice (looking for September stay)?

Also considered stepping up to the Sol Bahia Apartments or Hotel Marfil (all 3 of these listed on this site)... both about 30 room properties with air con possibilities... similar prices... any reason for choosing one over the other? They both seem well reviewed.

I'm getting the impression that vedra might be in the midst of the part of san antonio people have issues with...

Iam looking for any cheap place for e oo . I think Hotel vedra has a good price for me as single room .
I dont want spent time in the room .
