Hi guys, was wondering has anyone stayed at the hotel tropical? Was talking to a lad and he said he had problems bringing guests back to the room at night (ie some girl he pulled or paid for). I know some shit holes like Piscis have security on the doors at night and don't let guests back. Also is it a decent hotel?

Stayed there in September 2015. They put a wrist band on guests which can't be removed without cutting it off. Not sure if it's for access to the hotel or access to the swimming pool across the road. Kept itching me when I slept, so I cut it off and used some tape to make it more loose so I could slip it on and off each night. If the wrist band is used for access to the hotel you could be crafty and remove it and drop it over the balcony or nearest window and have your girl catch it and slip it on and pretend to be another guest. Worth a try at least.

Many at the pool so I gave it a miss, but there always seemed to be two lads guarding the entrance checking wrist bands. The guy at the hotel desk would rarely glance at my wrist band because he knew me by sight when I returned each night. I noticed this year that some of the hotels lock their front doors at night and guests have to press the buzzer or knock the door. Not sure if the Tropical keeps their doors open all night. They did when I was there in 2015.
