Hi does anyone know if the tropical has any self catering rooms,as they have them advertised
on travel republic but cant see self catering rooms on any other sites,
we,re planning on doing the HRH roadtrip in May ,but would rather go self catering instead of
bed n breakfast or halfboard
any help appreciated

It might just be something that's only offered through Travel Republic.

At the end of the day a room is just a room, catering is done elsewhere so it won't be any sort of issue.

Usually with Travel Republic, if it's got a kitchenette it's called Self Catering. Else it's listed as room only.

But I'm not aware of Hotel Tropical being truly self catering. It's a hotel, not an apartment building.
Having just checked their website (http://www.hoteltropicalibiza.com/en/habitaciones.html) they have just a mini fridge.

Hi Ben, as far as I know the Tropical only has the mini fridges and doesn't have any self catering. I do business travel these days but was a holiday travel agent for years. We are staying here in September for the 6 nights of Island of Trance before heading over to PDB for the end of our trip.

If u want pdb u won't b disappointed with Tivoli apts. they self catering and the rooms are huge (separate bedroom). They have cottoned on to this tho and they have gone up in price this season

Tivoli apts.are spot on.either s/c or eat in or out.sleep 4.two beds in a bedroom and a sette and puul out bed last time i stayed there before take over and refit...they used to have a gas bottled cooker as well.so when i went in oct once and it was raining we were able to dry our wet clothes.and keep warm.....

Agree with above 2 posts. Tivoli was excellent value and the apartment was ridiculously spacious! So impressed with it. Will definitely be staying there again. Great location too. Close enough to Space & Playa d'En Bossa beach, very close to Sankeys, but also far enough out of the way to be peaceful & relaxing. Top notch.

hi heather...ibizamar in the bay of san antonio are good and cheap with good self catering facilities.. avalable to book on most sites

ibizamar another good choice.air con nice rooms great location for shops bars.some rooms sleep up to 6.two in one bedroom.2 in like a cove room and two on the sette beds.
