Hotel reservations "mandatory" in June?

Question: are hotel reservations in advance necessary in Ibiza in the first week of June...we (three couples) will be traveling in Spain and will be going to Ibiza for about a week, but aren't sure exactly when we'll be there.

How much trouble will we get in "just showing up" in the first week of June?

If so, any location/hotel recommendations on the Ibiza town side of the island?

You should be fine, it's not that busy first week of June so you'll be able to pick where you want to go fairly easily.

Call 676 487 792 for an Ibiza travel company I know and speak to Fleur. They specialise in travel for DJ's and promoters but they should be able to sort you out as well.

Although I would say be prepared to have to check out several hotels, from june onwards the hotels can get pretty full. Many are booked months in advance, especially in the more desirable of them. If you have the option of booking before you go then I strongly recommend it.
