Hotel Monterrey in San An Bay

Anyone ever stayed here? I no its going to be a trek to the west end but wondering how bad it will be.

its at least a 45-1hour walk mate the hotels pretty good though

perhaps you could get the bus which runs every 30 minutes all day and every hour through the night.

Not when I stayed there 3 years ago!

When we stayed the water was salty in the shower, taps and pool. Reception was staffed by a miserable f@cker (or f@ckers) and the linen wasn't changed all week.



The bus takes you to the road but then there's the gravel track up to the hotel itself (note the word 'up') which is not lit.

It's do-able but with better planning you can find a much more convenient place to stay IMHO.



............you can get much better.

No, not all of them.

The last 5 places we have stayed at have been fine.....

things have changed since you were there last. the water is from the desalination plant and the road is tarmacced.

Ive stayed here, got a taxi back if it was the night time because i didnt want to walk up the path on my own. Used to get the little boat across though in the day time.
