Hotel Mare Nostrum or Fiesta Hotel PDB?

Hi Guys,

I'm going in 10 days and I have an option held on both hotels and I can't decide which one...

Both are around the same price but Mare Nostrum is all inclusive. I'm not broke so buying a few drinks isn't an issue. I really just want the hotel that is going to be best for a single guy.

Also anyone know if there is ever an issue taking a friend back to the room at either of these hotels? Never know your luck :p
 
Unless you enjoy eating low quality, luke warm food and a long que to order drinks from surley staff in small plastic cups one at a time, then I would give Mare Nostrum a miss. Its a GPS hotel so buyer beware.

The Fiesta Hotel would be a much better choice and an easier option to bring back company with you.
 
I would agree with Bez I have stayed at both chains and prefer the fiesta by a long shot. GPS has quality issues in my book.
 
yeah Mare Nostrum is pretty average by all accounts. if it was me and i could afford it would def go Fiesta
 
Mare Nostrum went right down the crapper when GPS took it - we went the year before it changed and it was superb - but a year later absolute crap - went to the then Fiesta Alarb the year after that and miles better than Mare Nostrum - dont think its Fiesta now though - never stayed in the Fiesta PDB but have in other Fiesta hotels on the island and they are one of the best hotel chains in our opinion.

As for GPS - the comments about the food and drink etc are quite true - give them a wide berth matey.

i would love to stay at ushuaia but its mega £££. its new this year so reckon its out to impress with their service etc
