Hotel Ibiza Playa or Mar y Playa Apartments?

Looking to book at either of these places (right next to each other), because of the close distance to Ibiza Town, and walking distance to Playa d'en Bossa, is it really only a 20 minute walk???

Anyway, looking at the differences, basically the apartments have a kitchen and thats about the only difference I can see. They both have sea view rooms, both locations rooms look similar, they both share the same beach and pool.

Mar y Playa is about 25euro more per night, is it worth it? I am thinking of just going with Hotel Ibiza Playa because its cheaper for pretty much the same thing. We don't plan on spending much time in the room since we will have a rental car and want to see other parts of the island.

Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

pick which ever you fancy,yes its less than a 20 min walk either way to town or main area of pdb.the pool is very small. they share the same beach.there;s is only one in this resort area.lol

Have stayed at May Y Playa for the past three years and we're going back again this year. Nice place, helpful staff, very clean and tidy. Apartments are a reasonable size but if you book ask for a sea view room right on the front of the building as these are a bit bigger with a much better view, at no extra cost. We're staying in the penthouse apartment again this year, tons of space with incredible views.

Very well placed, 20-30 min walk to PDB and Space, about the same into Ibiza town.

I was always happy with Ibiza Playa - Spotlight always got me a sea-facing room! Rooms are large, clean but basic, avoid the ones at the back of the hotel facing the road unless you simply want to crash out there.

The lovely sea pool is now and ex-pool, demolished a couple of years ago. They still have one outdoor pool shared between the two.

It all depends on if you want or need a kitchen with fridge or not.
You would have a lot more space in an apartment...assuming it is, they do have studios.
Also depends on what board options your prices are based on...
