Hotel Gran Sol help

I've been trying to email the hotel for the last week to change my booking. My friend and her husband have dropped out coming with us (something to do with buying a bigger house, very inconsiderate lol). As the whole booking is in my name I'm keen to cancel theirs, really don't fancy taking the hit on that. Their policy states you have a week until check in to cancel, so I thought I would be ok to change it with 5 weeks to go. However, I've been met with radio silence. Would you phone? My Spanish is very poor, so don't know if it will cause more problems than it will solve.

Thanks.

^ Yes, ring them. I remember the staff on reception speaking excellent English, in fact I think that one of them may have been English.

Thanks. I remember the english being really good when I stayed last time. Will give them a call tomorrow and hopefully get it sorted. :)

Scottish women on reception. They are always good at responding, so not sure what the problem is? Is it the direct email address you are using?

Oniontears - I'm staying in this hotel next month, I see you have stayed before?
How do you review the hotel? It seems to get a good right up :)

All the best with cancelling the hotel for your mates :)

Just phones and changed it. Beginning to think my computer doesn't like Ibiza. I tried to book a table at pikes and I've not had a response.
I though the hotel was great for the price. Great staff, reasonable price for food and drink. It's a slightly older crowd and some families, which means it's quitter during the day. Honestly, I think I'd struggle to go anywhere else because eI just think it's great value for money.

Perfect - It sounds like your computer playing up ha

I'm 30 so I like the older crowd cannot handle the heavy pool parties at previous hotels I stayed at when I was younger.

A nice chilled out atmosphere suits me to a tee.

When is it your heading out?

With regards Pikes, they have a tendency to be bad at responding. You might need to chase up a couple of time.

Gran Sol, best hotel in San An. No stag or hen groups and relatively chilled affair during the day. Quiet at night as well and great for recharging your batteries after a mad one. Cracking staff and reasonably priced drinks. Their Mojitos are the business.

Ask for a room at the back on a high floor for maximum quietness and good views of the sunset strip.

Heading out the 7th- 14th. As much as I love the party I like to recharge, the hotel is great. Always managed to get a lounger too
