Hotel? Ferry ride?

Hi, going to Ibiza in July - first time. Looking for suggestions on hotels or area to be at on the island. Also what's the cost for ferry rides to Valencia.

I know from valencia to ibiza it takes 3 hr. 15 min. long and costs 41 euros. So i guess the other way around should be the same..

The ferry from Barcelona takes much more time because it's quite a longer distance than from Valencia. The shortest trip is from Denia though.

I don't remember prices, but I guess as it takes more time, the ferry from BCN it's more expensive.
