Hotel discussion thread

Has anyone ever stayed at or heard any reviews of the hotel rural can partit? It’s in Santa Agnes in the north west of the island and looks like a nice place to relax for a few days with no surrounding properties and a good base to do some exploring by car. Struggling to make a decision this year, fancy something different. Any reviews would be appreciated

Looking at dates in august cant see anything for cheaper than 1500 for 11 nights, anyone know anywhere that would work out cheaper?

planning to come on the 23rd august, my boat party's the 26th so need a few days to get everything ready, then wanted a week to chill but the prices seem really expensive.

Check out trivago.com, it returns a few options for slightly over 1000€ (single room). E. g. hotel Tagomago in SanAn for 1075€.

Also check hotel prices at kayak.com.

Been looking at hotel prices for a weekend in early July...3 nights, not even in the school holidays - absolutely shocked! This is the first year that the cost of hotels is probably going to put me off coming over...even my cheapo 'go-to' hotel, The Red, in San An is about £600...this is crazy...used to be about £50 per night not long ago.

It's all very well having the best clubs and DJ's in the world, but these prohibitive prices are gonna put some people off. Flights aren't ridiculous, but hotels are getting greedy in my opinion...supply and demand I guess...

For one person on July 4-7, Florencio can be booked for 420€ (trivago member price), Orosol can be booked for 415€ (hotels.com), Tropical can be booked for 388€ (booking.com). The Red can be booked for 370€ (trivago member price).

You have to shop for hotel prices these days, use price comparison sites like trivago, kayak, check24. Different channels have very different prices. I recently booked Occidental Ibiza in mid-May for about 80€/night on check24, the asking price on the hotel's own website was twice as much.

I personally pay less for Ibiza hotels these days than I did 15 years ago. Simply because I learned to shop around and not to insist on being in a specific hotel. Going to a sea view balcony after waking up to see the sunrise isn't worth extra 100-200€ per night.

50 pounds per night in July sounds like very long ago (or during covid).

Fair enough...that Red price is probably for a single room with no sea view though. I don't think anyone can deny that hotel prices have gone through the roof since covid...

Hiya☀️

I wanted to book a room at Es Grop apartments in Portinatx in May, but before I pay for it (non refundable) I wanted to ask if anyone knows if their checkin is 24h? As my flight will arrive late at night. I have contacted them on instagram but no replies and cannot find any numbers or a way to contact them lol.

If anyone stayed there and knows, thanks😊
